Environ-Civil Engineering, Ltd. is a consulting firm that specializes in environmental and water engineering. The services provided by ECE include Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Construction Management & Inspection. The main office is located in Ellicott City, Maryland. We also have a branch office in Baltimore, Maryland. ECE’s professional staff includes engineers and scientists with background in civil engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, geology, chemistry and biology. Our personnel have broad-based and specialized skills.

History

Environ-Civil Engineering, Ltd. was incorporated in Maryland on July 29, 1992. The firm started out as an environmental engineering consulting firm providing specialized services primarily in the field of hazardous waste management. The services provided encompass performance of assessment and feasibility studies, remediation and treatment studies, wastewater engineering, and water supply engineering. Over the years, our services have expanded to include construction management and storm water management. ECE has grown from a mono-dimensional provider of environmental engineering services to a provider of a full range of engineering services which include construction management and inspection services.

M. Yomi Osoba, P.E.
President

M. Yomi Osoba, P.E. is the founder of ECE. He has over 25 years of technical and managerial experience in engineering and environmental projects. He has directed and/or worked on numerous engineering and environmental management projects. Over the years, Mr. Osoba has been involved in the planning, designing and construction implementation of government and private engineering projects.

His professional experience encompasses knowledge gained on various national and international projects. His roles on these projects have varied from field engineer, design engineer, to project director. He is a registered professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Mr. Osoba possesses a M.S. in Civil Engineering (Water Resources & Hydraulics) from Polytechnic Institute of New York (1985) and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University (1980).
