ECE is excited to be part of the award design-build team of PC Construction, Stantec and Hazen & Sawyer, which has been selected to design and construct the first phase of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission’s (WSSC) Piscataway Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Bio-Energy Project in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The (WWTP) Bio-Energy Project will implement advanced and cutting-edge biosolids processing facilities to create an exceptional quality Class A biosolids product while generating green energy through offsets of diesel energy, reducing biosolids trucking, and reducing greenhouse gases. 

 

ECE has assembled a multi-disciplinary project team that will provide various services concentrating on of civil, hydraulics and process engineering; and CMI (Quality Assurance) ECE’s will employ its vast experience in bio-energy, water/wastewater: process design, pumps, heat and power.  

 

This contract is in the design phase with an expected construction completion in late 2021.
